‘Happy Married Life’! Ashley Jensen has secretly married her longtime boyfriend Kenny Doughty.

Daily Mail confirmed the wedding news that the couple tied the knot in a ‘super fun’ and emotional ceremony at the historic Priston Mill near Bath.

The couple exchanged vows in front of close friends and family including Ashley’s 14-year-old son Francis, from her first marriage to late husband Terence Beesley.

A close friend of the newlywed told the outlet that Ashley was “barely stopped smiling all day.”

“The day looked absolutely beautiful. Ashley looked just so, so happy. She was smiling and laughing, it was simply idyllic. There appeared to be so much love in that room.”

Early this month, the couple sparked their engagement rumors after Ashley was seen wearing a ring that she tried to hide on The Graham Norton Show.

Days later, she appeared to attend the Scottish BAFTA Awards sporting what appeared to be a large diamond ring alongside her now-husband.

Ashley and Kenny initially met on the set of the 2017 BBC drama Love, Lies And Records.

The actress starred as Kate in the series while Kenny portrayed her colleague and love interest Rick Severs. However, it is still unclear how long have the pair been seeing each other.

In August 2021, the newlywed couple first sparked romance rumors after they were photographed holding hands in Bath.

For the big day, Jensen opted for an off-white gown with floral embroidery. She completed her look with coral platform sandals.

The gown featured a vibrant ruffled neckline and cinched in her slender figure with the bodycon style.

Kenny, on the other hand, dressed in a powder-blue suit which he paired with matching suede loafers. Similarly, Francis wore a matching outfit with Doughty alongside a floral tie.

Ashley Jensen has earlier married once

The wedding comes almost six years after Jensen faced the tragic loss of her first husband. Ashley and Terence had met in 1999 while working on a stage production of King Lear.

Shortly after they began dating and married on November 30, 2017. The former couple also shared a son named Frankie Jack, who was born in 2009.

Sadly, Beesley took his own life at the family home in Somerset in November 2017. He was 60 at the time.

Ashely paid a heartfelt tribute to her late husband revealing she had last spoken to him via text message and email on the afternoon of his death.

“I was extremely shocked by what happened. I will never forget it. Terry and I had been together for 18 years but I had no idea he was capable of what he did.”
