Love Is Blind star Bartise Bowden is now officially a dad

Bartise Bowden took to Instagram on Friday, April 7, to share the happy news that he welcomed his first child, a baby boy. He shared a series of pictures and videos featuring his newborn infant.

Most of the photos featured Bowden snuggled up to his son alongside a caption that reads,

“Might’ve been the villain on tv, but I’m gonna be the hero for him. Instagram, meet my little man,”

In one of the videos, the father and son duo can be seen watching golf on TV as Bowden said in the background,

“Ready to see your first-ever Tiger Woods golf show? Look at that, Let’s see if he watches. I used to do this with my dad.”

The Netflix star, 27, later shared another video on his Instagram story where he remarked while kissing his son’s forehead,

“We went from ‘Zaddy’ on screen to daddy in real life,”

However, Bartise hasn’t shared any detail about his baby’s mama.

Last time, the reality tv star hooked up with fellow Perfect Match contestant Izzy Fairthorne. The two met on the show and made it to the finals, however, PEOPLE confirmed in March that they are no longer together after filming.

Prior to Izzy, the Texas-based star dated fellow Love Is Blind contestant Nancy Rodriguez. Bartise proposed to Rodriguez in the show but ended up leaving the series without love as he called things off a day before their nuptials.

He claimed that he wasn’t physically attracted to Nancy.

The pair reportedly tried to remain, friends, until Rodrigues clarified her relationship with Bartise. She said that it would be impossible to be a friends with her ex after he turned her down at the altar.

“And so for me, leaving my shattered heart like at the — there was no coming back from that. I think that the way he left me at the altar, being blindsided — I needed time to myself to really heal from a broken heart,”
