Amid news of her divorce from her husband, Sam Asghari, 29, and his claims that she cheated on her, the pop singer, 41, is still “in great spirits despite everything going on,” as per People.

The source added,

“Obviously it’s never an easy thing to go through, but she’s remaining positive and focusing on the future.”

The former couple had been dealing with their marriage struggles for months and finally decided to move on a few weeks ago.

The court documents revealed that Asghari cried irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. The documents also include July 28 as their date of separation which means that the exes were married for barely 13 months.

During this hard time, Britney is still doing her best to stay positive and is busy with a lot of work projects which include the upcoming release of her book and music.

Last month, the Grammy winner and singer Will.i.am dropped their new song named Mind Your Business which marked the former’s first new music since her 2022 collaboration Hold Me Closer with Elton John.

At the moment, Spears is putting her focus on her book release and ”has an upcoming writers’ camp and is getting songs from some big artists.”

The source added, “Ideally she would love to do a new record soon, and maybe a powerful song for the book’s release.”

The pop princess will release her much-awaited memoir, The Woman in Me on October 24.

Britney Spears remains calm despite Asghar’s continuous public attacks

After making various claims of infidelity and physical abuse, Asghari shared a short statement on Instagram Stories about the divorce.

He wrote,

“after 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together.”
“We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always.”

He concluded,

“S–t happens.”
“Asking for privacy seems rediculous (sic) so I will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”

Right after the divorce filing, Asghari launched an explosive series of attacks where he claimed that she cheated on him with a staff. He further claimed that she hit him in the eye while he was asleep.

If that was not enough, Asghari said that Spears asked a house helper to film him naked.

Despite it all, Spears remains quiet but has hired Hollywood powerhouse divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to represent her.

Adam Streisand, the LA trial lawyer whom Spears tried to hire as her attorney in 2008 after a very public breakdown, told the Post,

“No one ever said life would be easy,”
“Only that she has the right to be terrible at relationships all on her own.”
