Cardi B and Offset are going through a rough patch, it seems.

The rappers who said I DO in September 2017 have unfollowed each other on Instagram, making fans suspicious about the wellness of their marriage.

The Bodak Yellow rapper, 31, fueled the rumors by sharing some cryptic messages via her Instagram Story on Monday.

Her one slide read, “You know when you just outgrow [sic] relationships,” and another read, “I’m tired of protecting peoples [sic] feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST.”

The Migos hitmaker, 31, for his part, shared a snippet of Al Pacino’s Scarface character shouting, “Hey, f—k you, man! Who put this thing together? Me! Who do I trust? Me!”

Fans had some words to say about the couple’s apparent fight, with one tweeting,

Fans realized Offset was noticeably absent from Cardi’s runway debut at Balenciaga’s fall 2024 show in Los Angeles which was attended by a string of A-listers.

How did Cardi B and Offset’s marital trouble rumors start?

Rumors of trouble between the couple started in June when Offset made grave accusations at his wife saying that she was cheating on him.

He wrote via Instagram Story,

“My wife f—ked a N—a on me gang yall n—as know how I come,”

The mother of two denied the allegations on Twitter, writing,

”First of all, let me say,”
“You can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!”

The Money hitmaker continued in a song,

“Listen,”
“Don’t pay attention to that country man, y’all.”

She insisted that her husband was “spiraling and thinking s—t” that wasn’t true.

Cardi added,

“Come on, now. I’m Cardi B, n—a. I think sometimes motherf—kers”

“If I was giving this p—y to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody.”

The Grammy winner also said that she was not in a position to sleep with just any guy because he would tell everyone.

On the contrary, Cardi also said that she can’t hook up with just anybody in the industry because they would tell everyone too.

She then demanded Offset that he “stop acting stupid” and “playing.”

Just a month later, Offset claimed that he lied about his wife being unfaithful.

He told Angela Yee on her Way Up podcast,

“We’re going back and forth, and I’m like, ‘Watch this,’”
“She got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day,”
“But she crazy, man.”

He also revealed that he didn’t find it important to clear things up because he had already deleted the post.

Offset said,

“At the end of the day them people don’t be really knowing what’s going on with us, for real.”
