Nicki Minaj opened up her 2022 Met Gala all-black Burberry outfit that cemented her decision to get a breast reduction because her breasts were spilling out.

While appearing on Life in Looks with Vogue, the rapper said looking at a photo from the event,

“I just realized just this moment that actually there was something good that came out of this,”

Minaj whose real name is Onika Maraj said that she loved the outfit during her fitting which featured a feathery bustier gown, leather leggings, and a matching baseball cap.

However, the Anaconda rapper revealed that she knew her breasts would get her into trouble. She recalled,

“I said, ‘You guys, listen, look these boobs are gonna be spilling out.”

The Super Bass hitmaker, 40, said that after supermodel Naomi Campbell told her they had to go, she “knew before we even left the room that the boobs were about to have a night of their own.”

The night before the Met, Nicki talked about her boobs which were covered with gemstones by Pat McGrath’s team — on the red carpet.

The Barbie rapper joked,

“The only unplanned thing about my look is my boobs popping out, because they made my cup size a little small,”
“Enjoy these titties, ’cause y’all ain’t gonna see that ever again.”

The rapper stayed true to her words as she flashed her new boobs to the world this past summer.

In June, Minaj confirmed that she underwent breast reduction surgery while showing off her new cleavage in a selfie video during promotions of her most recent collaboration with Ice Spice, “Barbie World.”

The rapper wrote in the comment section of the post, “New boobs who dis?”

What does Nicki Minaj say about her past surgeries?

While her breast surgery was something she always wanted, the rapper said in the past that she regrets her plastic surgery in the past.

Last month, she said in an interview,

“I guarantee you, if you change anything on your body and do anything surgical and all this, you’re going to — more than likely, not definitely, more than likely — look back one day and say, ‘I was fine just the way I was,’”
“And that’s what happened to me. I could not believe even some of the photos that I didn’t love.”

Nicki also confessed that she decided to have surgery because she “didn’t like being skinny, having a flat butt … having boobs that didn’t sit high enough.”

Minaj added, “It was a lot of things.”

All changed when Minajw welcomed her son, whom she shares with her husband Kenneth Petty in 2020.

The doting mother said,

“I think pregnancy could’ve played a role because seeing my son did remind me of myself so much. My real self,”
“And it made me think why didn’t I like this? So weird. But seeing old photos, being able to look at old photos again made me realize, ‘These old photos are beautiful.’”
