Carlson Young is finally married to his longterm boyfriend Isom Innis

Carlson Young, actress in The Scream, married Foster the People’s artist Isom Innis as her husband on April 29, 2017. The couple exchanged wedding vows in Carlson’s hometown, Fort Worth at Saint Andrew Episcopal Church in Texas.

Carlson’s sister Griffin Young served as her maid of honor while Isom’s bandmates Mark Foster, Sean Cimino, and Mark and Mark Pontius served as the groomsmen in the wedding party which was attended by around 350 guests.

Carlson did not share her wedding pictures on her social media, but she did share the picture of her rehearsal dinner and thanked the dress designer for her perfect dress via Instagram on April 29, 2017.

They love each other beyond expectation

Talking to People on April 29, 2017, the newly wedded couple revealed,

“This has been by far the best weekend of our lives, getting to have all of the people we love so incredibly much in one place was truly unforgettable and special. It’s not every day you get to marry your best friend and soul mate. We’re excited to begin our lives together, forever loving and lifting each other up.”

I've been madly in love with this one ever since we stayed up till 5am professing our undying love for Ian Curtis and laughing so hard we couldn't breathe at Lake Placid (the movie). It's been two and a half years since that night, and I still can't even believe you're real– I could not be more profoundly happy to go on adventures with you forever @isominnis. ???

The wedding had the couple’s favorite dish

The menu served the favorite items of Carlson and her husband, Isom, which included fried oysters, lobster puffs, shrimp remoulade, and mini avocado toasts.

The wedding menu even consisted of a risotto station with barite of toppings to choose from, gourmet pizza, tenderloin and truffle fries, and mini grilled cheddar on sourdough along with tomato soup shots.

The wedding cake had a very special appearance with its ombre sugar flowers cover, floral halo adorned with cascading petals, and the offering of five flavored Dippin dots.

Couples enjoyed their wedding party with full energy

The wedding planning has been going on since 2016. During an interview back in August 2016. Carlson had shared,

“I enjoy planning from afar, I know my mom will make me kick into planning mode in the fall, but for now I’m enjoying the luxury of just making little Pinterest boards and chiming in with what I’m thinking. It’s been a ball.”

Further, Carlson continued,

“He’s cute. He chimes in for random things, but every time I ask for his opinion on something, he’s just, like, ‘That’s lovely. But why do we have to wait so long?’ He doesn’t understand that it takes a long time to plan a wedding.”

Carlson’s wish for a destination wedding was unsuccessful

A guest list of 400 people couldn’t carry out Carlson’s plan for a destination wedding.

“but my family has 100 people in it so we’re looking at a 400-person celebration. We quickly realized it had to be near Fort Worth, Texas, where I grew up,there’s just not enough places for people to stay if we have it somewhere like Big Sur.”

Highlighting the growing list of performers in the wedding, Carlson said,

“My dad is a musician, his dad is a musician and we have a lot of friends who are musicians, we have a growing list of people who want to perform at our wedding. This will just turn into a musical festival at some point.”

After dating for nearly two and half years, boyfriend, Isom proposed to his girlfriend, Carlson and they got engaged in January 2016, in Iceland Carlson shared her happiness beautifully in words and pictures, with her followers via Instagram.
