Robert’s biographer, Jerry Oppenheimer has revealed that multiple sources that know the couple well have revealed that Cheryl is planning to take legal separation from Robert. What has caused Cheryl to take this major decision in her life?

Jerry is the author of the books RFK Jr: Robert F Kennedy Jr. and the Dark side of the Dream. He states that Cheryl is considering this permanent option to separate from her husband. She is ready to move on. The relationship with Robert has given her a lot of humiliations lately and she wants to now out of all this. The reports of his affair with reporter Olivia Nuzzi has acted as the last straw on the camel’s back.

RFK’s affair scandals

Political reporter and Robert has a sexting relationship. Olivia revealed this in September 2024 and Cheryl was completely taken aback by the reports. She was totally unaware of this affair of her husband until after reports emerged about it. Cheryl felt humiliated and wishes to end this alliance.

RFK is a right-wing advocate and is using it as the main part on his election bid for the president post. Though becoming out of the race, RFK continues to endorse Donald Trump. He may get a berth in Donald’s cabinet if the latter gets re-elected as the President of the USA this year.

Cheryl holds progressive views and is put in an embarassing situation due to the regressive beliefs of her husband. She does not like his increasing support for Donald Trump. She has been a long term Democrat and is unable to bear the extreme views of her husband.
