He went missing earlier this month and was found dead later on.
His family and close friends announced his death on social media.

Country Star Luke Bell went missing earlier this month and was later found dead at the age of 32 according to Officer Frank Magos from the Tucson Police Department.

The officer reported that the singer was found in the 5500 block of E. Grant Road in Midtown Tucson.

Police discovered his body in Tucson, Arizona on Monday, around the same place he went missing 10 days ago.

Magos said:

“The investigation is on-going at the moment,”

Bell’s family and close friends released a joint statement saying they were heartbroken over the demise of our beloved son, brother, and friend.

The statement read:

”Luke had a gentle heart, a wanderer’s spirit and a musical gift that he was fortunate to share with us and the world.
We are so grateful to his friends and fans for embracing Luke and his music. We would like to thank all of Luke’s fans, friends and family who have been sharing stories and photos of happy times with him.”

Luke started suffering from bipolar disorder after his dad’s passing

The statement also informed that Luke suffered from mental illness which developed after his dad’s death in 2015.

The statement continued:

“Luke was supported through his disease by a community of loving family and friends. Despite this, he was unable to receive the help he needed to ease his pain. Our hearts go out to the millions of people affected by mental illness who, like us, understand the devastating disappointment of a system that consistently fails to provide caring solutions to those who suffer.”

Bell who hailed from Cody, Wyoming went missing for more than a week.

Bell’s last disappearance was reportedly not the first time he had gone missing.

His manager Brian Buchanan said that the star could never find a way to cope with his bipolar disorder and had disappeared many times in the past.

Luke and fellow country singer Matt Kinman were planning to grab a bite when the former went missing. His official cause of death is pending an autopsy.

Many fans and his fellow country artists have paid tribute to the late star.
