Anne Heche’s son Homer Heche Laffoon wants control over his mother’s estate

Late Anne Heche‘s eldest son Homer Heche Laffoon has filed paperwork asking the LA County Superior Court to allow him to take control of her estate.

The 20-year-old confirmed that he and his younger brother Atlas, 13, will acquire the late actress’s estate after her untimely demise earlier this month.

The actress was involved in a shocking fatal car crash that ultimately took her life after being in a coma for many days.

Anne had not written a will before her death. The paperwork filed by Laffoon mentions both of her sons Homer and Atlas as rightful heirs to her property.

The paper says:

“The Estate consists of two (2) intestate heirs—Homer Heche Laffoon and Atlas Heche Tupper. Homer Heche Laffoon is an adult and the proposed Administrator. Atlas Heche Tupper is a minor.”

They continue:

“Filed concurrently with this petition is a Petition for Appointment of Guardian ad Litem for the minor, which specifically requests that the guardian ad litem be granted the authority to waive bond on behalf of the minor,”

Homer is not planning to join acting

The Donnie Brasco actress died in a terrible car crash on August 5 after being in a coma for a week. On August 12, she was declared legally dead by the state of California despite being on life support until OneLegacy Foundation took some time to find recipients for her donated organs.

On August 14, after her organs were donated, she was taken off of life support. The late actress was cremated on August 18 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in LA.

Anne shares Homer with her ex-Coley Laffoon and Atlas Tupper with ex-James Tupper.

Homer was born on March 2, 2002. He finished his high school at Campbell Hall School. He is currently studying at a university. Despite having a Hollywood connection, the young man is not planning to follow in his mother’s footsteps anytime soon.

After Heche’s untimely passing, Home talked about his mother’s resting place and said:

”My brother Atlas and I want to thank Tyler, Noelle and all the amazing people at Hollywood Forever for their kindness, compassion and generosity of spirit. We are convinced our Mom would love the site we have chosen for her; it’s beautiful, serene and she will be among her Hollywood peers.”

He also talked about his mother’s kindness and how much she love her fans.
