He shared a series of intimate selfies of the two of them including a pair of silly behind-the-scenes videos of the pop-punk singer. Similarly, he captions the post, writing,

Jute$, whose real name is Jordan Lutes, is a singer-songwriter from Ottawa, Canada. He was previously signed to Capitol Records, however, he left the label after two years to go independent.

In a 2021 interview with The Nuance Magazine, he revealed his experience working on a major label and what led him to go independent.

He said at the time,

“You hear about labels shelving people or holding them without pushing them so often, and I can’t say how grateful I am that isn’t me, I had been wishing I could be indie again for a while just because I love being totally in charge of my own career, so it worked out quite nicely.”

He is credited as a co-writer on several tracks including “Substance,” “Happy Ending” and the rollicking banger “City of Angels.
