Death of Cameron Boyce-too soon, too fast

The Disney star, Cameron Boyce was at the peak of his career. He was all smiles as he walked the red carpet at a Walt Disney event with his co-stars just a few weeks back.

But all this is psst now. He is no more. He died recently and the cause of his death has been revealed as an ‘ongoing medical condition’.

A spokesperson of the family of Cameron told ABC:

“It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron.
“He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.
“The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.”

Cameron’s parents Libby and Victor Boyce and his actor sister Maya Boyce mourned his death and said:

“We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother,”

None of them furnished any more details about his medical condition. Cameron had migrated to Los Angeles for his acting career and made it his home. But the announcement did not state where the death of Cameron took place; Los Angeles or somewhere else.

Cameron Boyce and his career

Cameron began acting at age nine. He did the horror film Mirrors and also appeared in the TV series General Hospital. He starred in Adam Sandler’s movie Grown Ups.

His breakthrough role was as Luke Ross in the TV series Jessie. After this fame, he landed a role in Disney film Descendants. Additionally, he lent his voice to the main character Jake in the animation series called Jake And The Neverland Pirates. Also, Cameron had a small part in Shia LaBeouf’s thriller Eagle Eye.

The news of the premature and tragic death of this aspiring actor saddened Disney World. And they issued a statement that read:

“From a young age, Cameron Boyce dreamed of sharing his extraordinary artistic talents with the world.
“As a young man, he was fuelled by a strong desire to make a difference in peoples’ lives through his humanitarian work.
“He was an incredibly talented performer, a remarkably caring and thoughtful person and, above all else, he was a loving and dedicated son, brother, grandson and friend.
“We offer our deepest condolences to his family, cast mates and colleagues and join his many millions of fans in grieving his untimely passing. He will be dearly missed.”
