The rapper’s mom, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed a temporary restraining order against her son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini after he allegedly left Doja “traumatized.”
Sawyer further alleges Dlamini left her daughter with bruises and cuts.

Doja Cat‘s mother claims that her older brother physically abused her, as per her temporary order filing.

In the documents filed by the singer’s mom Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles Superior Court alleges that her son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, knocked Cat’s teeth out.

Deborah added that Doja, whose actual name is Amala Ratna Zadile Dlamini — needs protection against the 30-year-old after he gave her a series of cuts and bruises.

Claiming that he made the Paint the Town Red singer “feel unsafe and traumatized,” she added,

“Raman has verbally assaulted her in a very degrading and demeaning manor [sic],”

The mother also claimed that her son stole and damaged some of her daughter’s personal belongings.

Not only Doja but Raman has reportedly been very physical and abusive toward her as well many times over the past year and even threatened to kill her.

Sawyer’s most recent violent encounter with her son was in early January.

TMZ reported that a judge granted Deborah’s request for temporary court-ordered protection from Raman pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order.

The outlet also reported that the judge, however, did not grant Doja the same protection, since the singer would need to file her own restraining order request.

The Streets singer has been active on social media amid her mom’s serious allegations against her brother.

On Tuesday, the Woman rapper shared Coachella’s 2024 lineup after it was revealed that she would headline the festival alongside Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and No Doubt.

The songstress also shared a selfie of herself wearing three pairs of sunglasses on Wednesday.

Doja Cat lost 250,000 Instagram followers last year

No matter what, Cat always finds herself in controversy. Last month, the Grammy winner revealed that she doesn’t hate her fans, who call themselves Kittenz. In an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, Cat said,

“One thing that I do want to set straight is that you’ll never see a direct quote of me saying, ‘I hate my fans.’ Not once,”
“But it’s a really big misquoted thing where everybody is saying, she hates her fans.”

She also laughed at rumors and said that it happened because people didn’t get her humor.

Cat noted,

“It’s definitely something, and I know that people who get it, get it, and I’m fine with that,”

Last July, Cat lost more than 250,000 followers after she refused to tell her fans that she loved them.
