His request was approved on Wednesday, January 31 in Los Angeles County.

Elijah Blue Allman didn’t want to divorce his wife Mariangela King

A judge approved Elijah Blue Allman‘s request to dismiss his divorce from his wife Mariangela ‘Queenie’ King.

In early January, Elijah filed a petition to call off the dissolution of his marriage in Los Angeles County.

However, a judge initially denied the request due to a temporary support order. The request was denied “without prejudice,” allowing Allman to re-file at a later date.

Finally, his request was approved on Wednesday, January 31.

In 2021, Allman, 47, first filed for divorce from King, 36, after almost eight years of marriage.

However, the two have since reconciled amid legal drama with Allman’s mother, who requested a conservatorship over her adult son.

Cher lost her bid for a conservatorship over her adult son

Cher‘s request for a temporary conservatorship for her son, Elijah Blue Allman, was denied by a judge.

Judge Jessica A. Uzcategui ruled against the “Believe” singer, 77, stating that there was insufficient proof that her son was unable to take care of himself and handle his trust funds.

Uzcategui said Allman “has remained drug-free” after offering “several drug tests” proved he had “managed his finances,” and “has an apartment.”

During Monday’s hearing, Elijah Blue appeared in court with his wife.

In late December, Cher filed for temporary legal conservatorship of her son alleging he was inappropriate to care for himself amid severe substance abuse and mental health issues.

While Allman stated in a document that he and King were “reconciling and cohabitating” in response to Cher’s request. He also mentioned that his mother “objects to my reconciliation with Marieangela.”

King further stated that she and Allman “live together as a married couple” in a separate petition. She said at the time,

“Elijah is a brilliant musical and conceptual artist and a king, thoughtful, and generous man, He is the love of my life and I absolutely adore him. He is also a recovering drug addict and alcoholic.”
