They were arrested at the airport for breaching the coronavirus rules. Zara has fled to Barbados but Elliott is locked up in the Covid isolation unit. It is said that he facing a possible jail sentence.
Holland paid a £7,355 fine to clear the bank before she left the island. On 6th January 2021, she made a tearful appearance in court in Bridgetown.
She appeared in court wearing a face mask. She was told that she could be sent to jail after pleading guilty. Likewise, she had a dilemma if she should wait for her boyfriend Elliot or not.

Zara’s lawyer Andrew Pilgrim QC blamed her ‘lapse’ in judgment on a ‘foolish error’. He claimed that Zara had received two negative Covid-19 test results before arriving on the island.
They became nervous after Elliott tested positive as they were told to quarantine in their hotel. It led to their decision to leave the Island. Andrew presented a bank statement to the court proving his client could pay the £4,417 fine.
He said,
“We accept the decision of the court. Miss Holland wants to express her sincere apologies to the entire nation of Barbados. At this point, we have no further comment”
When did Elliott Love meet Zara?
Elliott Love met Zara Holland after she left the show Love Island. Love had not seen any episode of the show. He was the first guy whom she met after coming out of the villa. She had failed to find love inside the villa. They moved in together after dating for a while.
Zara revealed,
“When you know, you know – we clicked straight away. We have spent every weekend together since meeting. We’ve been official for a couple of months now. It just happened naturally and that’s the best way.”
Holland revealed that Love liked her for who she is. Zara felt more confident after she was in a relationship with Elliott. Christmas was the first holiday they celebrated together as a couple.
Even though they have been dating each other for almost 4 years, Love hardly makes an appearance on her Instagram.
Last he made an appearance on her Instagram feed in 2018. Since then, all the posts of Holland are of her. Elliott also has a private Instagram account where he has not made any posts.
