Emma Raducanu is a professional British tennis player. According to the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), she was ranked the no.10 and is the first British woman to win a Grand Slam singles title.

She withdrew her name from the British team for performing in the November Jean King Cup Finals in Glass Glow after she underwent a right wrist injury.

At the end of April 2021, she trained with a coach, Nigel Sears. Then she joined the Nottingham Open but lost in the first round against Briton Harriet Dart.

Emma Raducanu switched to coach Andrew Richardson in July 2021 and played during the U.S. Open series. Emma ended her career high of World No.19, at the 2021 WTA Tour.

Unfortunately, she tested COVID-19 positive and resumed playing at the Melbourne Summer Set.

During her 2022 season, she played different games like Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers, Nottingham Open, and others.

Unfortunately, she had a left glute injury, at the Korea Open and also had a wrist injury after which she withdrew from the Billie Jean King Cup Finals.

In January, Emma Raducanu returned to the tour at the Auckland Open and defeated Czech teenage, Linda Fruhvirtova in the first round. But, she could not continue after sustaining a left ankle injury in the second injury.

During the second round at the Australia Open, she was defeated by world no.7, Coco Gauff at the second round.

The Sunday Times named her the Sportswoman of the Year in November 2021. In December 2021, the Sports Journalists Association awarded her the Sportswoman of the Year and the Peter Wilson Trophy for an international newcomer.

Likewise, Emma became the first female tennis player to win the trophy in 1977 and was named the BBC Personality of the Year on 19 December 2021.

In addition, Emma Raducanu was named Sports Star of the Year at the Stylist’s Remarkable Women Awards in March 2022.
