The controversial figure Katie decided to open up about her split from her first husband Peter Andre. She has now accepted that she was responsible for the sad death of her first marriage.

She had turned fame-hungry and believes that it was this attitude that finished her relationship with Peter Andre, 46. The relationship was already rocky and to add to it, she had started to run after fame, and the former glamor model accepted.

Katie, 41 said that she would have been still married to Peter if she had not gone after fame. She feels sad about it and also regrets that she allowed other people to come in between her and Peter. She told Fabulous magazine:

“With Pete I probably wouldn’t’t have done so much stuff in the media because I reckon we still would be together if certain people hadn’t been involved, 100%.”

Peter and Katie met on the show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here in the year 2004. They began dating and married in September 2005. They had two children Junior and Princess who are 14 and 12 respectively. But they split in 2009.

She has regretted that she chased fame. She feels that she should not have attempted to kickstart her pop career by participating in the Eurovision Song Contest in the year 2005.

“I think it has to be fourth time lucky. I wanna look at that someone and not have my head turned.”

She is also trying to complete her divorce procedure with Kieran from whom she separated last year. Katie has talked about marriage to Kris and the mother-of-five also wants to have a sixth child. She had also spoken about wanting to adopt a baby now.
