From the couple’s affair to their divorce

Toni Braxton and Keri Lewis met each other for the first time when his band Mint Condition opened her during a tour. Then after, it seemed as if they start spending more time together.

It was like the relationship of a singer with her musician. Furthermore, both of them shared the same taste in the profession and music as well. Keri was an R&B music creator whereas Toni Braxton was an R&B singer.

After the couple’s divorce

The ex-couple lived separately for almost four years before getting an official divorce. An official spokesperson of Tonu Braxton said:

“The couple has had an amicable split and will still both be actively involved in raising their two sons, 11-year-old Denim, and 10-year-old Diezel.”

After some time of their separation, Toni opened up about her separation from her former husband. She said something like this:

“I had to figure out a plan for my life that had nothing to do with him. I was angry with everybody. I couldn’t believe this was happening to me. I felt that I was a person dealing with a lot of struggles and here comes another one.”

After their divorce, Keri Lewis and Toni quit the music and her singing profession as she wanted to focus more on acting.

However, she couldn’t resist singing and came back with the band as she added another Grammy for Best R&B Album in the year 2015.

Although the couple is separated, it can be said that they still have set an example for people who go through a divorce with young children.
