She had her band named The Colors with whom she participated in the Swiss Preliminary Competition for the Eurovision Song Contest. The band finished third with the song Home back in 2010.

It was able to hold the position of #1 in the German airplay for four weeks. In 2019, Ilira came up with another single Do It Yourself. She was also a guest singer in 2017’s Bright Red.
