Greg Grippo has opened up about his feelings for Katie Thurston. He appeared on season 17 of the show The Bachelorette. He revealed that he did not think that anything was going to happen between him and Katie.

Greg had no clue that he was going to fall in love with her. On 7th November 2021, he admitted during the episode of the podcast Kait Coaching that there was very little chance of him falling for her. He added,

“I think only a select few are able to feel and really build something with the person that’s there.”

They started forming a bond after Greg told her how much he cared for her during the hometown dates. But Katie was not able to give him the same love back so Greg left the ABC series. He decided to end his ABC journey and quit the show. He said,

“I was just telling you that you filled a hole in my heart. I’ve never given up on you. I’ve fought so hard for you here … As much as it hurts me, I’ve reached my breaking point with this. I gave you everything. I really hope you find something.”

Katie accused Greg of gaslighting during the reunion of the season and he apologized for his behavior.

He revealed that he was confused after he left the show because he wanted to end things between him and Katie on a good note. But when he found out she was hurt he was ashamed of how he reacted to the whole situation.
