Hunter King, who turned 31 on Saturday, Oct. 19, has announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Chris Copier.
The Young and the Restless star shared the joyful news on Instagram on October 24, posting a video that captured the romantic beach proposal.
The clip began with King and Copier kissing on a beach hill alongside their dogs, Poppy and Leo.
Shortly after, Copier kneels to propose and King can be seen jumping in excitement and embracing him before he places the ring on her finger.
The couple then shares several passionate kisses and hugs while both are on their knees. The video is set to the song “Simply the Best” by The Hound + The Fox, enhancing the romantic mood of the moment.
Further, the Hallmark star expressed her happiness with the caption,
“Best day of my life @chriscope 88 I can’t wait to marry your ass,”
After the post was uploaded, many people quickly went to the comments to congratulate the couple and share their blessings.
Joey King, the sister of the soon-to-be-bride, commented with excitement, saying,
“WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I’m so happy for you guys. The sweetest most wonderful news,”
She also shared her joy in Instagram Stories by posting a video of Hunter and writing,
“Getting a brother!!!!!! So happy for @chrissope38 & @hunterking.”
Additionally, several of her former castmates joined in the congratulations. Michelle Stafford, who played her onscreen mom Phyllis, wrote, “Yes!.”

A Relationship Timeline of Hunter King and Chris Copier
Hunter and Chris first sparked their romantic relationship when Hunter shared videos of their moments in her Instagram post at the end of 2023.
They met in early 2022 on the set of the film Give Me Your Eyes, where Hunter played a leading role and Copier worked as the assistant director.
Since they began dating, Hunter has expressed her affection for Copier through heartfelt Instagram posts. On March 27, she uploaded a birthday post for her now fiance. She wrote in a caption,
“Happy birthday to the guys who does it all, The guy who makes matzo ball soup from scratch for me when I’m sick. Who hates tofu but learned how to perfect it anyway because he knows I love it. A month earlier, she had written a playful Valentine’s Day poem that humorously mentioned the Raiders football team, expressing her love for him no matter how the team performed.

Recently, Hunter shared a photo of them, revealing their plans for a date at the Kansas City Wine Walk.
In addition to their personal life, Chris and Hunter have been collaborating on multiple projects, including the upcoming Hallmark Channel movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
The film is set to premiere on November 30 as part of Hallmark’s 15th annual Countdown to Christmas.
In the movie, Hunter plays the lead character, Alana, while Copier serves as the assistant director.
