There is some great news forthcoming from Derry Girls star, Saoirse-Monica Jackson. Her boyfriend Denis Sulta proposed to her and she said yes. Saoirse revealed this on her social media.

The TV actress plays the role of Erin Quinn in the famous Channel 4 sitcom Derry Girls. Saoirse’s boyfriend, Denis Sulta hails from Scotland and is a DJ. Saoirse uploaded on her Instagram an image of her boyfriend while he was giving an interview to the music magazine, Metal magazine recently. In the interview, Denis was asked what fond memory he had in 2023.

And in reply, Denis answered that it was his engagement to his girlfriend, Saoirse-Monica. Saoirse used this indirect method to announce about her engagement. She herself has not shared any announcement of her engagement on her social media. She put heart emojis on the screenshot of this interview.

Denis and Saoirse have been dating for the past more than two years. It was in September 2021 when they went public with their relationship. They uploaded a photo of them on their Instagram. In the sweet snap, Denis was on one knee that prompted people to believe that he was proposing to her. But Saoirse clarified in the comments section:

Saoirse had managed to keep his identity under wraps and hid it from her fans for a long time. On learning about her boyfriend, one of the fans of the Northern Irish star wrote on X:
