Congratulations are in order for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky
Rihanna is a mother for the first time. The 34-year-old singer and songwriter from Barbados have yet to confirm the arrival of her baby boy yet.
Riri and A$AP Rocky started dating two years ago and it was in January of this year that the singer announced she was pregnant with her first child.
Since the announcement of her pregnancy, the Umbrella singer has been seen in public multiple times in style, flaunting her baby bump.
Her signature maternity looks were adored immensely by millions.
It was also widely speculated that the couple might have tied the knot secretly after Rocky’s music video DMB (Dat My B*tch) was released as he wore a MARRY ME grill on his teeth. Riri also wore a red veil and looked like a pretty bride.
A$AP on the other hand revealed his relationship with Riri in a 2021 interview with GQ and said she was the love of his life.
He expressed his love for his partner by saying:
“She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”
Also, talking about fatherhood, he said:
“I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad,” he told the publication. “I would have a very fly child. Very.”
When did the world find out that Rihanna was pregnant?
It was during the Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin event in February that the hit singer was seen for the first time since announcing her pregnancy.
The beauty entrepreneur told in an interview that it was hard for her to hide her pregnancy from the world. She also revealed that she herself didn’t feel it was real at first.
“When I first found out, it’s not real, you know? I was like, ‘This is not for real, right? And then, it was and it’s almost like you don’t want to get too excited too soon because it’s great news, but you…want to see that it’s going to see its way through. And I’m so glad that we’re this far along and now I can celebrate with everyone.”
