Actress Jaime King has requested a restraining order against her husband director Kyle Newman.
She is filing for divorce from him.

Kyle, on the other hand, is presently in a relationship with his girlfriend CYN. The two together also shared a son named Etienne Noel Newman.

They were married for 12 years. But now, the two are divorcing. Actress Jaime King has separated from her director husband Kyle Newman. Jaime filed her divorce papers in Los Angeles on Monday 18 May 2020.

In the court documents, the actress has also asked for a restraining order against her husband. The court has already granted a temporary restraining order to Jaime, 43 and the next court hearing is on 8 June 2020, People reports. Kyle, 46 has been denied visitation until then with no prejudice.

A source told People magazine:

“She’s distraught,”

Jaime has also applied for a domestic violence prevention petition against Kyle.

The couple and their relationship timeline

Jaime and Kyle had first met on the sets of the film Fanboys. And soon love blossomed between them. They started dating.

In the year 2007, the two decided to exchange wedding vows. Their marriage took place at Greystone Park and Manor in Los Angeles. Their first date also was at the same site.

After the wedding, Jaime told InStyle Weddings:

“I don’t know why, but some part of me was instantly connected to him, and I loved him so much,”
“It was intense. I never thought that would happen to me.”

The couple shares two children: James, 8, and Leo, 6. James has a crush on Cardi B. In a video posted on her Instagram, Jaime asks James:

“What do you want to say to Cardi B?”

James replies:

“I love you,”

The mother further queries:

“What else do you want to say?”

And James said:

“I want to marry you,”

Jaime states:

Further, on his birthday, Jaime asked James:

The last few days during self-isolation

On Mother’s day, Jaime posted:

“I am incredibly blessed to be your mama. Thank you for choosing me my beautiful babies. May I always hold for you and be the safest space that you know ????with happiness, peace, unconditional loving, support, laughter, abundance, understanding, joy and hearing and seeing you for you forever.”

On the other hand, Kyle posted nothing on Mother’s day or the birthday of his wife Jaime. But in the last few days, he has been uploading several photos of himself with his sons in self-isolation.

One of the pictures he captioned:

“Triple Scoop. First dip of the season.”

One fan wrote:

“Too cute!”

And another fan remarked:

“@kelly_stephens03 doesn’t look like it’s going to work out. She was granted the restraining order against him. ???? Doesn’t sound good but I won’t speculate and there are always multiple sides.”
