Corinne Foxx and her fiance Joe Hooten threw an engagement party for their near and dear ones.

The 29-year-old daughter of Jamie Foxx and Connie Kline announced in December that her boyfriend proposed to her.

The former Beat Shazam host shared happy snaps from the party which her family and closest friends attended.

The future bride captioned the series of snaps,

“Food, friends & family ❤️ so happy we got to celebrate this special time with our favorite people 💍💕,”

One of the photos showed Corrine and her future husband posing with a group of friends. Another showed a happy shot of her and her famous dad.

The actor, 56, wore a blue checkered Louis Vuitton shirt and pants and blue-tinted glasses. Corrine looked stunning in a champagne-colored sleeveless dress shirt and matching pants.

While announcing her engagement, Corrie shared black-and-white photographs with a caption, “From the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever 💍❤️.”

The rare images showed the two aboard a sailboat and embracing.

While Corrine and Joe are very private about their relationship, they reportedly first met in 2018. Both graduated from the University of Southern California, according to Page Six.

Corrine and Joe’s engagement news came amid Jamie’s health scare

Jamie paid a heartfelt tribute to his darling daughter and future son-in-law after they shared the exciting news.

The Ray star wrote,

“You are a perfect example of what being in love is…. You care about each others life mental and physical… and you have each other’s back…,”

Jamie also told his fans that when he found out Hooten was going to ask for his daughter’s hand, he had “tears of joy in my soul.”

To his daughter, Jamie wrote, “You have… and have always had a special place in my heart… you deserve love abundantly…”

The news of Corrine and Joe’s engagement came after her dad’s health scare that made him hospitalized for weeks.

Last month, while attending the Critics Choice Association Awards Celebration of Cinema & Television Honoring Black, Latino & AAPI Achievements, the Oscar-winning actor got emotional while accepting the Vanguard award.

The star said in his 12-minute speech,

“You know, it’s crazy, I couldn’t do that six months ago — I couldn’t actually walk,”

He said after a pause,

“I’m not a clone, I’m not a clone. I know a lot of people who were saying I was cloned out there,”
“I want to thank everybody. I’ve been through something, I’ve been through some things.”
