The divorce settlement was confirmed through court documents obtained by PEOPLE on January 6, 2025.
Jennifer filed for divorce on August 20, 2024, after almost two years of marriage in Georgia.
However, the now exes had been separated since April 26, 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Both parties will retain their individually acquired assets during the marriage. Neither Lopez nor Affleck will pay spousal support.
Affleck will keep his stake in his production company, Artists Equity, while Lopez will maintain ownership of her major projects.
The now-former couple’s shared mansion, valued at approximately $61 million, is reportedly up for sale, though specific terms regarding this property remain confidential.
Following the divorce, Jennifer will revert to her maiden name and drop “Affleck” from her legal name.
Furthermore, they do not have any children together, but both of them have children from their previous partners.
Lopez has twins, Max and Emme, aged 16, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
On the other hand, Affleck shares three children Violet, aged 18, Seraphina, aged 15, and Samuel, aged 12, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have had ups and downs in their relationship
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez first met while filming the movie Gigli and quickly became a high-profile couple.
They were engaged in 2002 but broke up in early 2004, largely due to intense media scrutiny surrounding their relationship.
After nearly two decades apart, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in May 2021, shortly after Lopez ended her engagement with Alex Rodriguez.
They married in a private ceremony in July 2022. They were living a blissful conjugal life, however, they began experiencing problems in their marriage in early 2024.
In May 2024, sources reported that their marriage was struggling after they had not been seen together for several weeks following their last public appearance in New York City on March 30.
During that time, Lopez was busy promoting her film Atlas and attended the Met Gala without Affleck. However, they were later seen together in Los Angeles and reunited for Affleck’s daughter Violet’s graduation.
Despite this, Lopez and Affleck spent time apart throughout the summer of 2024.
Lopez also traveled to Europe and the Hamptons for celebrations like the Fourth of July and her birthday without Affleck, who was busy filming The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles.
After filing for divorce, Lopez made her first public appearance at the premiere of Unstoppable, which Affleck co-produced, on September 6.
On September 16, she and Affleck had a family lunch with their children at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge.
In December 2024, Lopez shared a video montage reflecting on her year, which included highlights like her stunning appearance at the Met Gala and clips from her films Unstoppable and This Is Me … Now: A Love Story.
In an interview included in the video, she expressed pride in how she handled various challenges, stating,
“In my low moments, I’ve learned to just feel the feelings and then let them go.”
