On November 4, 2014, he was acquired by the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA Development League. He made his professional debut for the club on November 14, 2014, against the Maine Red Claws. On July 30, 2015, Huestis signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He made his NBA debut in a 113–91 win over the Utah Jazz on March 24, 2016.
