A family of four! Russell Dickerson and Kailey Dickerson have expanded their family. Kailey gave birth to her second child a baby boy named Radford Arthur Dickerson.

The news comes almost a week after the baby arrived. Radford was born on Sunday, October, 1, weighing 8 lbs., 14 oz., and 20.5 inches tall.

The new mom, 31, shared a joint Instagram post on Saturday, October 7, announcing the birth of her second child with a series of family photos featuring the newborn.

Similarly, she wrote in the caption section,

“Lil Rad man made his way into the world 17 hours after the show in Kansas City, Dad was dropped-off at the hospital on the tour bus and all. But we made it! Lil Rad is a dream baby and Rem is obsessed with being a super big brother!”

The couple are already a parent to a 3-year-old son Remington Edward.

The baby arrived almost four months after the pair announced the pregnancy news. Prior to her second pregnancy, she suffered a tragic miscarriage at eight weeks last fall.

Russell Dickerson managed to make time for the pregnant wife during his tour

Russell had been performing his Big Wheels & Back Roads Tour across the country in recent months. Although he is out on the road, he still makes time for his pregnant wife and children.

He shared with US Weekly,

“I usually FaceTime my wife, Kailey, and my son, Remington, to say hi if they aren’t out on the road with me that weekend, Playing live shows is one of the best parts of my job; there’s really nothing like it. I love feeling that energy in the room each night, and meeting the RD Fam in person is always special.”

Russel and Kailey were college sweethearts. They met while enrolling at Belmont University and ultimately married in 2013.

In a 2017 interview with US Weekly, Dickerson revealed Kailey has always been supportive throughout his music career.

In his early career years, Kailey handled the photography and videography side of Dickerson’s country music output.

He noted in the interview that her wife inspired his hit song, “Yours,” explaining,

“My wife has been with me since the early SUV days. She actually shot the music video for ‘Yours.’ She shot the album cover for the Yours EP and full-length album, has driven countless miles, set up merch, taken all the meet and greet pictures and more. So yeah, that’s definitely inspiring to write a record about.”
