A family of five! Carey Mulligan and her husband Marcus Mumford have expanded their family.

The actress, 38, gave an update on her family details in an interview with Vogue for their November cover story.

Mulligan disclosed that she had welcomed her third child with her husband Marcus months ago.

The couple are already a parent to two children a daughter Evelyn Grace, 7, and a son Wilfred, 5.

The interviewer revealed Mulligan was six weeks postpartum when the interview was taken.

In the article, they shared that the Great Gatsby actress entered a London coffee shop alongside an infant while “the yellow diaper-leak stain streaked across her blouse.”

She then said to her baby, jokingly,

“Here I am, ready for Vogue, I’m going to change [the baby], and then we’re going to find Mumanother shirt.”

However, the now proud mom of three didn’t reveal the sex, name, and birth date of her newborn.

Further, Carey discussed her “very normal” family life in the interview noting it revolved around “school runs, Sunday lunches” and other “tricky logistics”.

In January, the “Promising Young Woman” star debuted her bump at the American Film Institute Awards luncheon, confirming she and Marcus are expecting their third child together.

In 2011, Marcus proposed to Carey and married in April of the following year.

The couple welcomed their first child together a daughter Evelyn in September 2015 and their son Wilfred was born two years later in August 2017.

However, the couple prefers to keep their kids out of the public eye.

In an early interview with Vanity Fair, the British actress got candid about balancing her professional life along with her personal life, raising her two children.

“I think it also changed as they get older. It’s different now. When they’re tiny, they are sort of portable, Now mine are getting a bit older, it will become clearer what is and isn’t possible for us.”
