Kellan Lutz and his wife Brittany Gonzales are proud parents of a new baby, a boy.
The pair are already parents to a 17-month-old daughter Ashtyn Lilly.
The couple took to Instagram to share the good news with their fans and well-wishers.

Congratulations to Kellan Lutz and Brittany Gonzales for becoming parents the second time.

The couple is elated to announce the birth of their second child, a boy named Kasen Lane Lutz on Wednesday, August 5 at 8:52 a.m.

The happy parents announced the news via Instagram and informed that the child weighed 8 lbs., 11 oz, and measured 21.5 inches long at birth.

The duo shared their gratitude via a joint post that read:

“We are in love and soaking up all the baby cuddles ? Ashtyn loves her baby brother, Koda is the sweetest, most gentle dog big sis ever, and mama and baby are doing well,”
“This big boy eats around the clock and is gearing up to be built like Hercules like his daddy ?”

The couple concluded:

“Thanks for all the love and prayers! We are SO blessed and in love and can’t believe that God has given us another precious gift!”

The new mother also shared some information about her newborn as she posed with him in her arms and revealed that he is a brunette. She further revealed that breastfeeding is going well and that her eldest child Ashtyn is excited to be a big sister.

Brittany had to go through a C-section to deliver her son

The reporter opened up about the C-section she had to go through to welcome her son and said:

“Ended up being another C section and this go around recovering has been SO much easier so far so praying it continues.”

Gonzales also did not forget to thank everyone on Insta for their help and support since the beginning when she couldn’t even get pregnant.

She added:

“What a journey it’s been but gosh what a beautifully redemptive one ?❤️”

The news of the new baby came around in February when the duo shared a sweet reveal on Instagram.

The mother-to-be surprised her husband by sending him an iCal invitation with their baby’s future due date. The clip also shows their daughter Ashtyn wearing a big sister onesie.

The Twilight star,37 captioned the video:

“2 under 2 in 2022 ?? God is Good! Babies are the Best! Love you forever and always @brittanylynnlutz,”

The mum-to-be also shared the same video with a slightly different caption that read:

“2 UNDER 2 IN 2022!!!! Some might say we’re crazy, we say we’re crazy BLESSED ?❤️”
