Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Strokes have gradually come forward with their budding romance.

The beautiful couple, who sparked dating rumors in January, made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2023 CMT Music Awards in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, April 2.

The Penthouse singer, 29, served as the host of the evening for the third time alongside Kane Brown. Besides, she is up for two major categories including Female Video of the Year and Video of the Year, both for her hit song, “Heartfirst”.

During the red carpet preshow, Ballerini gushed about their first event together with CMT’s Carissa Culiner stating,

“I have a really hot date tonight. I’m really really happy and it’s really nice to… this is our first outing so I’m like, ‘Come on into my world and then bring me into Charleston [where Outer Banks shoots].’ “

“I don’t know if it’s the big moments on TV or where I am in my life or what it is, but I feel really good. I’m happy to be here and the show is amazing.”

For the event, the Blindsided singer looked stunning in a grey corset-style gown with a billowing train that draped down to the floor. She then paired her look with silver pointed heels.

Chase, on the other hand, donned a matching navy blue short-sleeve suit.

As for photographs, the lovebird couldn’t keep their hands off each other as Strokes wrapped his arms around the country songstress’s waist whereas she wrapped her arms lovingly around his shoulders.

Similarly, they both have a big smiles on their face for the cameras.

The new flames sparked dating rumors in early January and Ballerini confirmed their romance the following month while making an appearance on Call Her Daddy podcast.

The Country singer spoke about Chase for the first time while speaking to the host Alex Cooper, stating,

“I’ve never seen his show, but I just knew of him, and I just swan dove right on in. His handle is ‘@hichasestokes,’ and I said, ‘Hi Chase Stokes.'”

She then went on to acknowledge that she was the one who initially slid into Stokes’ DMs. She said,

“I’m happy and I’m really relearning a lot about myself and how I show up in a relationship for myself and it’s been a really beautiful reawakening”
