Maddie Marlow Font is ready to begin her motherhood journey! The member of Maddie & Tae, 27, is expecting her first child with her husband Jonah Font.

A representative for the couple confirms to PEOPLE, Marlow has a due date this fall. Similarly, the beautiful couple shared photos from their pregnancy photoshoot on their respective Instagram handles.

In the pictures, Marloe proudly shows her tiny baby bump in a blue bodycon sweater dress whereas the soon-to-be father, 28 dressed casually wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

The Die From a Broken Heart singer shared she surprised Jonah with her pregnancy in a beautiful way, revealing,

“We found out in early January that we were expecting. I surprised Jonah with a little card and the positive tests once he came home from work,”

Similarly, Marlow went on to acknowledge that before she even knew she was pregnant, her duo partner, Taylor Dye Kerr, had a ‘feeling’. Taylor is also a mom to a daughter named Leighton Grace.

The singer gushed to PEOPLE about how excited she is to become a mother for the first time,

“We are so excited to become parents! We’ve always wanted babies, so it is surreal that this chapter is beginning for us. We feel so grateful that God chose us to be this sweet little boy’s parents!”

How long have Maddie Marlow and Jonah Font been together?

Maddie and Jonah were school sweethearts. They first met in Texas during their junior year of high school. Before Maddie moved to Nashville Jonah gave her a promise ring when she was 17 years old.

Following their engagement in May 2018, the couple took a milestone in their relationship by getting married in November 2019.

Maddie reflected on their romance with PEOPLE ahead of their wedding,

“It’s been eight years, and we are still crazy in love like the 15-years-olds kids we were when we met. We just felt ready to start another chapter in life together.”
“It is funny to think [back] to being 15-year-old kids in love and to see how our love has grown over the years. Getting married was always a goal of ours, and this year just felt right.”

She continued by acknowledging their mistake, effort, and the improvements made throughout the course of their partnership.

“When one is falling short, the other steps up and vice versa. We forgive fully. We don’t hold our mistakes against each other. We figure out what needs improvement, move on and try to love each other better the next day.”

“Being vulnerable is also very important for us. When we fight or argue we try to avoid attacking, take a breath and say, ‘My feelings are hurt because….’ Pre-marital counseling really helped strengthen the foundation we already laid down.”

Marlow later concludes her statement by stating, “But most importantly, we have fun!”.
