Kenny G demands USD 13k as compensation from his ex-wife, Lyndie!
Divorce is always hard and if bitter, it could make matters worse. Sometimes, problems erupt many years after the divorce too. This happened with American saxophonist and music composer, Kenny G (Kenneth Bruce Gorelick). Another tiff with his ex-wife led him to demand USD 13k from her as compensation. Know the reason why.
The ex-wife of Kenny G, Lyndie takes him to court again
Kenny G or Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, 67 divorced his wife Lyndie in 2013. They reached a settlement in which Kenny got their Malibu home. The couple used to live in this home with their kids during their married phase.
Lyndie recently took Kenny to court stating that the musician was supposed to sell this Malibu mansion and give her 25% of the sales proceeds if it exceeds USD 40 million. Lyndie accuses her ex-husband of not selling the mansion. He did not put up the mansion for sale but instead rented it to Amazon billionaire, Jeff Bezos for USD 600k per month.
Jeff now resides in this rented home with his fiancee, Lauren Sanchez. The two have also purchased a new place but it is under renovation. And Jeff and Lauren were supposed to move out in October 2023.
Kenny demands compensation from ex-wife, Lyndie
It is learned that Lyndie was upset that her ex-husband has not sold the mansion and instead rented it out to Jeff. In order to know the transaction and financial details between the two parties, she used the discovery process to reach into and find out his financial records. She also tried to get hold of his private emails that he shared with Jeff.
An upset Kenny sued her in return. He stated that she has no right to delve into his private emails or get depositions from his associates on it. His lawyer wrote:
“To make it even more clear, the following are Kenny’s legitimate privacy concerns: Kenny has a right to privacy with respect to his communication with third parties, with respect to his trust documents or trust documents holding his assets, and he has a right to privacy with respect to his finances which include how he maintains his assets,”
Since Lyndie misused the discovery process, she has to cough up USD 13k as compensation, Kenny’s court documents state.

Further, Kenny’s lawyer wrote:
“Lyndie intentionally continues to ignore that this primary issue needs to be resolved before (and only if the Court finds there is such obligation) Lyndie can pursue discovery on the lease of Grayfox, any efforts to sell Grayfox, maintenance of Grayfox and any communication between Kenny and third parties on same,” his lawyer wrote. “Once the Court finds there is no obligation in the Further Judgment that Kenny sell the Grayfox Property, all of the discovery at issue shall be moot.”
Kenny also added that it was not mandatory on him to sell the Malibu mansion. He was not under any obligation to do so. The divorce settlement only said that IF he sells the mansion, he has to give 25% of the sales money to Lyndie. This also would be the case only if the sales amount was more than USD 40 million.
Kenny and Lyndie married in 1992. They have two sons together: Noah and Max. Both are grown up kids now. Earlier, Kenny was married to Janice DeLeon from 1980 to 1987.
