The famous Kim Kardashian and her singer husband Kanye West set up a lemonade stand near their house in the neighborhood to raise money for a good cause. They wanted to donate the proceeds towards mental health!

On this Friday 22 March 2019, Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West with their two kids North and Chicago partnered with Adidas to set up a lemonade stand near their house in Hidden Hills to raise money for mental health.

The celebrities hawked some homemade lemonade, fresh drinks, and unreleased Yeezy’s for a good cause. They wanted to raise money and they decided to donate all the proceeds to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Along with the lemonade, the couple was also selling the yet unreleased Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Geode. A pair of the Yeezy costs $ 300. Besides, these lemonade stands are also set up in Indianapolis, Ohio, Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, and South Dakota.

The couple built their stand and sold the fresh drinks on it.

At the pop-up stand, Kim was also selling shoes from her husband Kanye’s footwear line. She had informed her followers through Instagram and Twitter about the pop-up stands. She had said that they would also stock shoes at the stands.

Kim also later shared pictures of families all over the USA who had participated in making the lemonade stand concept a success. She also put up pictures and videos on her social media of herself and her family as they readied the stand for the day.

Their eldest daughter North, 5, and niece Penelope, 6 were painting a prop for the family’s stand and the duo looked sweet doing it. The girls then helped Kanye stack boxes of the shoes for sale at their Hidden Hills stand.

About the National Alliance on Mental Illness

The National Alliance on Mental Illness is the country’s largest mental health organization which is dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans who are unfortunately affected by mental health issues.

The organization was also accepting straight donations if people could not make it to the stands for the choicest drinks.

Kim Kardashian has been in a charity for a long time. This is not the first time that she has done her bit for it.

Before this, Kim had met President Donald Trump regarding reforms of the prison in the USA. She also volunteered to make the payment for the rent of the former prisoner, Matthew Charles.
