There is no bad blood between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson despite their public breakup last year.

The exes who called it quits in August 2022 greeted each other at 2023 Met on Monday.

Fans were surprised to see Davidson, 29, and Kardashian, 42, on a friendly term as the two were pictured launching and chatting with singer Usher.

Davidson kept things pretty simple in a Fendi T-shirt, leather pants, and a trench coat. Meanwhile, Kardashian looked stunning in a corseted Schiaparelli dress dripping with pearls.

Last year, the reality star and the comedian made their Met Gala debut where Kim made global headlines by wearing Marilyn Monroe’s iconic Happy Birthday gown. Pete being a gentleman helped his then-girlfriend up the stairs in her tight dress.

The couple famously dated for nine months after hitting it off on the set of Saturday Night Live when Kardashian hosted an episode of the show in October 2021.

The couple then called it quits in August 2022 and decided to be just friends.

A source said at the time,

“They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship,”

Pete got rid of all of Kim’s tattoos

But other sources claimed that the pair’s huge age gap did play a part in their split saying that Pete “is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice.”

Kim “has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.”

Pete is currently dating his Bodies Bodies Bodies co-star Chase Sui Wonders who was absent from this year’s Met Gala.

Kardashian, on the other hand, is very quiet about her dating life after splitting with the comedian.

Davidson also removed all his tattoos dedicated to his ex just five months after their split.

In January, he and his new girlfriend enjoyed a trip to Hawaii where he showed off his bare chest in the ocean. It showed that the actor’s tattoos for Kardashian were gone.

The Meet Cute star even had tattoos dedicated to Kim’s kids which were also missing during his romp in the ocean.

Davidson had more than 70 designs on his entire body and he said in a 2019 interview with Inked magazine that getting tattoos was “just a release … When [I’m] so manic and upset, sometimes that’s the only thing that will work for me.”
