Congratulations to Ioan Gruffudd and his soon-to-be wife Bianca Wallace!

The actor, 50, revealed that he proposed to his girlfriend, the couple announced in a joint statement Instagram post on Saturday.

Ioan and Bianca, 31, shared a sweet photo of them and wrote, “The most precious thing happened… ❤️💍,”

The image showed the pair embracing as the future bride held up her hand to proudly show off her engagement ring.

Fans congratulated the couple, with one writing,

”Congratulations!! I’m so happy for both of you ❤️ And your ring is absolutely beautiful!!!!”

Another wrote,

The actor’s engagement news surfaced after he filed for divorce from Alice Evans in March 2021. The exes share share two daughters, Ella and Elsie.

Gruffudd’s previous marriage and tumultuous relationship with his kids

Gruffudd and Evans first met on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000 and tied the knot in 2007.

At the time of their separation, the couple announced the news by releasing a joint statement on social media, writing,

“As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

After that, Ioan confirmed his relationship with Wallace in October 2021 on Instagram. He wrote alongside a happy photo of the new pair, “Thank you for making me smile again @iambiancawallace ❤️💫💙,”

Evans,55, and Gruffud finalized their divorce in July 2023 at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Since their split, the two have been in a continuous legal battle about their kids’ custody and domestic violence claims.

Last year, the exes’ eldest daughter Ella claimed that she feared abuse from her dad’s girlfriend in a restraining order she filed against her soon-to-be stepmom.

Ella also filed a restraining order against her dad.

In her declaration, the 13-year-old said that Wallace slammed a door that hit her head and injured her arm while she was at her dad’s house.

She stated that she is “afraid that [Wallace] will abuse and/or continue to allow abuse to happen to my sister too.”

She also claimed that she had bruises when she tried to leave her dad’s house after the big argument with him and Wallace.
