Maddie Ziegler and her boyfriend Eddie Benjamin have allegedly ended their three-year relationship.

A source who knew the couple well said that the Dance Moms alum, 20, and the Aussie singer, 21, are no longer together.

The couple who secretly started dating in 2019, just months ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic went public with their romance only in March 2020.

Five months later, Ziegler and Benjamin made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Bullet Train in Los Angeles. The sweet couple smiled together for the cameras as the Weatherman singer planted a sweet kiss on his then-lover’s cheek.

They often showcased their romance in TikTok as well after they slowly became comfortable speaking about their relationship publicly.

The Music actress would often share pictures of them together on her social media account.

Last December, the couple also gave fans an insight into how they spent the holidays together.

The Ballerina star shared photos of herself posing with her shirtless beau and also a video of him sledding in the snow. She captioned, “the past few days ❤️?,”

The last time fans saw the couple on Instagram was when Ziegler shared a photo with Benjamin on January 24 with a kissing emoji.

Ziegler and Benjamin were best friends before starting a relationship

That very month, the American actress revealed in an interview that she was very excited that she was dating the Australian singer.

She said at the time,

“We have such a good time together and we were best friends for a really long time before we dated,”
“It’s like I’m just hanging out with my best friend every day. It’s really fun. It’s honestly the best. I love it.”

The Fallout actress explained that her relationship with Benjamin was successful because they could relate to each other’s careers.

The professional dancer said,

“We feed off of each other so much. I think it’s so cool that we push each other every day,”
“It’s cool that we can give each other advice. He’s just been so supportive. I’m just his biggest fan.”

The pair also appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar together in 2021.

Ziegler revealed that the couple were best friends for over a year and that they started seeing each other only after breaking up with their previous partners.

She recalled Eddie telling her one day,

‘Me and you just have so much love for each other, it gets confusing.’

Zeigler then said she covered her face with a pillow for 20 minutes and could not look at him.

The actress said,

‘This is so embarrassing because we literally just admitted that we love each other!’ But we’re kids. Me and Eddie are still kids. We’re figuring it out and we’re just letting it happen,’
