Madonna calls her family the best medicine
Madonna paid a touching tribute to her kids as she reflected on her one month after her hospitalization for a bacterial infection.
The Grammy-winning singer shared a series of photos featuring her son David Banda and daughter Lourdes and wrote,
“Love from family and friends is the best Medicine,”
“As a Mother you can really get caught up In the needs Of your children and the seemingly endless giving,”
Adding that her children really showed up for her during the terrible time, she said,
“I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference.”
Page Six reported that the Queen of Pop was rushed to a hospital in New York City in late June after collapsing in her house.
After that, doctors intubated her for at least one night before having the tube removed.
Following the hospitalization, David and Rocco were snapped paying a visit to their mom’s Upper East Side apartment amid her recovery.
Sources revealed that Lourdes was by her mother’s side throughout the emergency.
Madonna’s health issues came after she rehearsed strenuously for weeks for her Celebration Tour.
A source said at the time, “She had been putting in 12-hour days,”

Madonna thanked her manager for a special gift
The tour which was originally supposed to begin on July 15, will now go on the floor in Europe in October.
The Papa Don’t Preach singer also didn’t want to avoid her North American tour dates which will now be rescheduled.
A source said,
“Madonna told everyone she wants to do the whole thing [soon] — but her management team and her insurance company kicked back. There was a bit of a battle raging,”
“While she has some rehearsing still to do, she has been working at it for months and knows exactly what needs to be done. She is just eager to get out there — as eager as her fans are to see her.”
On Sunday, the singer also thanked her longtime manager, Guy Oseary for gifting her a Polaroid “taken by Andy Warhol of Keith Haring wearing a jacket with Michael Jackson’s face painted on it.”
Madonna described the gift as a “perfect triangle of Brilliance.”
She added,
”I sobbed when I opened this gift because I realized how lucky I am to be alive. And how fortunate I am to have known these people and so many others who are also gone,”
