Marlon Wayans breaks silence over the legal aspects related to his secret daughter!

A few days back, Radar online had reported about the paternity suit and demand for increased child support allowance for the secret daughter of comedian Marlon Wayans. Marlon was upset at being painted in bad light in this matter. He has now replied on the legal case.

Recently, there was news about the secret daughter of comedian Marlon Wayans who was born last year. The baby mama is Brittany Moreland about whom he had not announced to the world and the child is the result of this relationship of Marlon.

Marlon has two kids with his ex, Angela Zackery. They are daughter Amai who transitioned into a boy Kai recently and another child, son Shawn. Angela and Marlon dated from 1992 to 2013 when they split.

The comedian supposedly did not reveal to the world that he has a secret relationship with a woman called Brittany Moreland, 34. She delivered his baby last year and the child goes by the name, Axl July Ivory Wayans.

Brittany filed a paternity suit and has asked Marlon to increase the child support allowance to USD 21k.

Marlon breaks his silence

Marlon was projected in bad light in the news reports published about his legal tangles. He issued a statement to clear the air and state his side of the story. He said:

“All love, all GOD. The baby isn’t a secret. The mama has been posted. But I chose to keep the baby’s private life private. Ain’t nobody’s business. Social media is toxic and dangerous, and I’d like to keep her peace,”

Marlon justified his decision to not tell the world about his daughter. He did not want the world and paparazzi to affect the growing child. He added that the child is not a secret one and people did know about the baby mama.

Marlon refuses to enhance the child support allowance

The comedian feels that the current child support allowance he gives to Brittany is more than sufficient for their daughter. He told Shade Room:

“It’s the classic case of a good, loving, responsible father shelling out over $18k per month for a one-year-old, and an entitled woman decides she wants more. My mama and dem would’ve lost their minds for $2K.”

Marlon clarified that he has not lessened the money he is giving Brittany to bring up their daughter. He continued:

“No, I have not [reduced the child support allowance]. I probably could and should, but goes to show no good deed goes unpunished. But I remain in light and love and keep a smile on my heart.”
“All these women having to drag men to court who pay NOTHING towards their children. And here, a woman gets a doctor’s salary and says it isn’t enough?” Wayans continued. “I’ve had two children before this.”
“I’ve never had this problem. I’m a good man with a good heart and strong sense of responsibility, but I refuse to be used and discredited.”
