Matt Chase and Abbie Beineman are officially married!

Matt Chase took a milestone step with his girlfriend Abbie Beineman as they got married. The singer and songwriter, 30, exchanged wedding vows with his girlfriend after nearly three years of relationship.

Chase exclusively gushed about his wedding to PEOPLE,

“We both knew it was true love when life just perfectly fit together. It was like we had known each other a lifetime already. We both felt that desire to take the next step in life. We felt as if we were meant for that next chapter, together.”

The wedding ceremony took place on May 25, on the luscious ground of Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun in Mexico.

The couple has had a plan to have a beach wedding. The extravagant wedding venue, which was located on a 500-acre property, was decorated with a variety of roses, hydrangeas, and eucalyptus along with a white and blue color scheme.

One-half of the country duo Southerland said about the wedding venue,

“It was absolutely beautiful. “[There were] great accommodations for us and our family and friends that attended, with so many food and drink options. It was truly the perfect backdrop for our special day.”

Beineman, who works as the VP of e-commerce for Nashville-based Savage Ventures, added,

“It was absolutely beautiful,”

Matt and Abbie met through a mutual friend at a Halloween party. In April 2022, the musician popped the question to his now-wife Abbie Beineman following a romantic outdoor proposal in Arkansas.

Abbie, the bride of the day, looked stunning in a white sleeveless Anna Kara gown from Tesori Bridal in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The wedding gown is paired with a long veil.

Similarly, she is accessorized with her grandmother’s pearl ring that my grandfather gifted her. She also teamed with a pair of Untamed Petals earrings.

Matt Chase and Abbie Beineman’s Wedding Menu

The guests were served a four-course menu featuring a surf and turf dinner that included blackened salmon and mango passion fruit mousse to finish things off.

Beineman reflects on the foods that were provided to the attendees, explaining,

“We also had caramelized pear with goat cheese bruschetta and Caribbean ceviche with sweet potato chips for the cocktail hour.”

As for desserts, they served the traditional wedding cake made with vanilla and white buttercream.

The wedding was officiated by Matt’s close friend Brandon Newell. The couple exchanged handwritten vows with one another.

Similarly, their wedding ring was from Verragio. Fellow singer Ray Fulcher was one of the groom’s best men during the ceremony.

Currently, the newlywed couple enjoying their honeymoon at the luxurious Excellence Playa Mujeres resort. Chase said about their successful wedding, expressing,

“We always want to make sure that the little things stay important. The little moments matter just as much as the big ones. Life really does fly by — we’re going to always try and soak in the seconds.”

Adding to that, the new bride concludes,

“[It’s all about] taking our next steps in life together. [We can’t wait for] all the adventures ahead and continuing to check the bucket list boxes together.”
