Who is Tabatha Brown?

Tabatha Brown is the mother of Kane Allen Brown. He is a famous American singer who gained fame due to his online songs. He is active and popular on social media platform and has garnered a lot of followers for his country singing.

Tabatha Brown is a single mother. She is of white ethnicity and holds the nationality of the USA. Tabatha has another child, a daughter. Her husband’s name is not revealed.

But when Kane was 3 years of age, his father was incarcerated. This was in 1996 but there is no info on the reason of his imprisonment. However, Kane has kept a good relationship with his jailed father. He once told Billboard:

He brags about me and talks about how good he is on the drums. I always joke with him and say that I’m going to hire him when he gets out.”

Kane’s difficult childhood

It was a hard life for Kane during his young days. His mother was a single mother and they were homeless many times and living in their car. He revealed on the “All Our Favorite People” podcast:

“Every time I have a chance, I just try to help somebody…I have a spot in my heart for homeless people.”

Kane was ill-treated as a kid by his step father. He lost his friends to drugs and guns. He has stayed clear of these vices. Kane was born on 21 October 1993 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His father is an African American and partly Cherokee. Kane was unaware of his biracial origin until he turned 7 or 8.

He told People magazine in 2018:

I thought I was full white… I found out that I was biracial, and I still wasn’t thinking anything of it, but then I started getting called the N-word … I learned what it meant, and that’s when it started affecting me. I got in fights over it when I was little.”

He and his family stayed at multiple places around Northwest Georgia such as in Rossville, Fort Oglethorpe, and LaFayette. Ultimately they settled in Red Bank, Tennessee. Therefore, he shifted schools frequently. He attended Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School (Fort Oglethorpe), Red Bank, Ridgeland, and was in Soddy Daisy High Schools for some years.

After completing his graduate studies, he went to live with his grandmother. But his mother, Tabatha continues to be an important part of his life. In 2017, he gifted her a car on her birthday.

Kane’s career, married life, wife, daughters

Kane is a complete family man. He had great respect for his grandfather who owned the store Cold Spot. When his grandpa died, Kane wore his jacket on one of his shows and remembered him. He said:

“I felt like he was with me.”

Kane auditioned for American idol and The X factor. He was chosen to join a boy band on the show. But he left the show since he wanted to pursue his solo career.

Kane started posting his cover versions of some of the popular songs of other music stars online. This won him praise and followers. He released his first EP in 2015. This was followed by a single and an album. His songs topped the music charts.

Kane got close to singer Katelyn Jae. The two started dating and he proposed to her in 2017. On 12 October 2018, the two walked down the aisle together at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee. Around 200 friends and relatives attended the wedding ceremony.

In 2019 on 29 October, Katelyn delivered a baby girl. And on 30 December 2021, their second daughter arrived.

Kane is a doting father. He does not want his daughters to suffer the way he did. He said:
