The Pregnancy speculation
People had begun to suspect that Meghan was pregnant when she appeared at the royal wedding in a long, loose-fitting coat. The rumors got fire today; she was pictured arriving from her long flight from the UK to Sydney holding large purple folders in front of her stomach.
The Zika Virus and travel
Zika virus is known to be very dangerous for pregnant women as the virus is known to affect the mental and physical development of the developing fetus.
So there were suggestions that Meghan will not travel to Tonga and Fiji, where the virus is an epidemic. But this has been confirmed to be false as palace spokesperson told Britain’s Daily Mirror that she will travel there after “medical advice about the risk of the Zika virus on the islands of Fiji and Tonga”.
Help with the baby
Royal sources also revealed that Meghan’s mother Doria may move to London to help them to be new parents to take care of the baby and Meghan does not want to hire a nanny. She would rather take her mother’s help to take care of the baby.
Another statement shared that Doria is very happy:
“(Doria) very happy at this lovely news and is looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild”
Happy to be parents
Both Prince Harry and Meghan had previously revealed that they wanted to be parents someday.
Harry had said:
“Of course I would love to have kids right now but there’s a process that one has to go through and tours like this are great fun. Hopefully I’m doing all right by myself. It would be great to have someone else next to me to share the pressure, but you know, time will come and whatever happens, happens.”
Meghan had said that it was in her bucket list to be a mother.
