NFL’s Jake Matthews welcomes a baby boy as his first child
Atlanta Falcons player Jake Matthews and his wife Meggi are blessed with their first child a baby boy on the 10th of November 2022. The couple welcomed their baby boy at 3:00 pm and named him Beckett Thomas.
The Atlanta Falcons offensive tackle, 30, had a hectic day that was also filled with happiness as he hurried to see his newborn child despite having a game on Thursday night. Matthews was in Charlotte, North Carolina, preparing for his team’s game against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.
Matthews rushed from one city to the next as soon as he learned that his wife was going to give birth to their first child in order to support her and welcome the baby.
Actually, the due date is on Sunday, so Matthews assumed he’d play, and return, and their plan to induce labor on Sunday would proceed as planned. However, it appeared that the child had other plans.

Jake got just 15 minutes of time with his baby boy and returned to Charlotte for the game.
Meggi quipped that their son would arrive on game day
