Introducing Jon Mullins’s daughter Charlotte Rose Mullins

Charlotte Rose Mullins is the newborn daughter of The Voice’s Jon Mullins and his Wife, Whitney. She was born weighing 7 lbs on September 21, 2022.

Her father announced her arrival with People adding,

“You never quite realize how insane and special and crazy having a child is until it happens to you. But I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”

The Voice alum is only getting about five hours of sleep each night all thanks to his little angel Charlotte Rose Mullins. The baby was welcomed through c-section which Mullins confirmed,

“It was a scheduled c-section. It was probably the most terrifying day of both of our lives because you’re walking into a room and your wife is on an operating table and there’s nothing you can do.”

Explaining Charlotte Rose’s birth, In a Second singer father Jon added,

“All the things that could have gone wrong or that usually would have gone wrong for some reason went right. We’re Christians. We love Jesus. And when it comes down to it, even though everyone says to ‘trust God,’ we were still scared.”

What happened to Jon Mullins’s wife?

Jon Mullins’s wife Whitney just delivered her baby but it was deemed high risk because of her 6 years back traumatic injury. The school teacher in Tennesee, Whitney slipped off their head on the floor of her classroom in February 2016.

She is currently fit but her pregnancy was taken into caution, thank goodness that baby Charlotte’s arrival wasn’t without its challenges.

The couple had gone through the turmoil of the pregnancy loss back in May 2021. Mullins had described the incident stating,

“I was actually at a writer’s retreat in Tennessee, and Whitney called me to tell me something was wrong. Within a day and a half, she had lost almost half of her blood volume. We lost our baby and we almost lost Whitney.”

Whitney then was critical after the doctor could not get the bleeding under control. Thus, Whitney was under observation in the hospital for a week. On her pregnancy health, Mollins added,

“The morning sickness took a toll on her body. She actually lost 50 pounds during the pregnancy.”

Jon Mullins and his wife Whitney who first met in 2007 in the business office of Tennessee Temple University had two such terrific incidents before they welcome their bundle of joy.
