The model cum actress Bella Thorne is in the revealing mode! She has opened up recently about her childhood, her complicated relationship with her mother, her pansexual orientation, and her childhood sexual abuse.

The gorgeous actress Bella Thorne was on the Strahan and Sara and was talking to guest co-host Keke Palmer. She spoke about her childhood and how she longed to be accepted for what she is. She had a complicated relationship with her mother and said that she yearned for some structure and direction from her mother when Bella was growing up. Bella revealed:

“I wanted acceptance. I wanted appreciation and love for who I was, the way I looked, to everything about myself that I didn’t ever feel like I got,”

She added:

“I wanted an education, I wanted to feel like I could speak, I wanted a lot of things. But I never spoke up so you can only blame people around you so much before obviously, you start blaming yourself.”

She seems to be introspecting a lot these days.

These comments on Strahan and Sara come after Bella had spoken about her childhood sexual abuse in an interview on ABC. Additionally, she has released her new book called Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental Disarray. Though Bella had dyslexia, yet she managed to read scripts and even write a book. And, she has 20 m followers on her Instagram.

Bella disclosed that the abuse began when she was 6 and continued into her adolescence. It was at age 14 that she decided to revolt against this abuse and bolted the door. She said:

“I mean when you’re raised with someone. And you don’t know that it’s wrong. It’s just very, like, an everyday occurrence, like no big deal.”

She has anger against society and stated:

“I think that you have anger towards society in general. And our society clearly … this is something that is literally happening at everyone’s doorstep. And still, nothing is ever done about it.”

She continued:

“We don’t look at it as the main problem, but it is because it is shaping our society. It is shaping our girls to be different girls than what they were supposed to be.”

She admitted:

“I’m actually a pansexual, and I didn’t know that,”

Bella shot to fame as a Disney star at age 13. The childhood stardom came with its own problems. She struggled with her personal well-being due to it. She justified:

“If you spend your whole life, you’ve been raised to only please people, then how do you know, why do you think, ‘oh these child stars are going crazy. But they finally get to please themselves for once or ask themselves what does please me? Because I don’t even know at this point.”
