Patsy Kensit is now committed to her millionaire property tycoon, Patric Cassidy

EastEnders star Patsy Kensit and her millionaire boyfriend, Patrick Cassidy took a milestone in their romantic relationship!

The 54-year-old actress and singer took to Instagram on Saturday, February 18, to announce the exciting news that she is now engaged.

Patrick proposed to Patsy on the romantic beach proposal as the sun set over the sea behind them.

Patsy shared the photo from their romantic proposal on her Instagram in which Patrick can be seen down on one knee in the center of a love heart made out of red petals on the sand as he sweetly kisses Patsy’s hand.

This is the first time Kensit has ever featured her now-fiance on her social media account.

She then simply captioned the post,

“I said yes”

Patsy also gave a glimpse of her rock of an engagement ring in an accompanying video.

The newly engaged couple first met through their mutual friends. Patric gushed about her new relationship earlier this month in an interview with Mirror, revealing,

“Men become way more interesting in their 50s, which is a revelation to me.”

Patsy Kensit has previously been married four times

Patsy first got married to the keyboardist, Dan Donovan at the age of 22 in 1988, but they split after three years in 1991.

The following year, she married the lead singer of Simple Mind, Jim Kerr. The two together have a child a son named James, 27, who was born in 1993.

Like her first nuptial, her marriage to Jim also didn’t long last, and divorced in 1997. She then married Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher with whom she shared a son named Lennon, 21, together.

The following year after Lennon’s birth they got divorced.

She then married her on and off again partner, DJ Jeremy Healy however, they split a year later.

After her divorce from her fourth husband, Patsy swore never to marry again revealing the break-up with DJ Healy left her feeling ‘foolish and ashamed’ as well as plunging her into depression.

At the time, she explained,

“This year has been truly, truly awful. I lost my confidence and ballooned from eight stone to 11. I’m looking forward now, with one million per cent conviction, that I definitely won’t be getting married again.”
