Princess Catherine might wear blue at King Charles III’s coronation
Princess Catherine gave royal admirers a rare hint at what they can expect to see her wearing at King Charles III‘s coronation.
It is possible that the Princess of Wales has already chosen her outfit for the big royal event which is just two weeks away on May 6.
During her recent trip to Birmingham with her husband Prince William, Catherine spoke to ITV host Alison Hammond about the upcoming coronation.
At the time, the This Morning presenter asked the princess what she was planning to wear to the historic event.
She recalled telling the princess,
“I said to her, ‘I’m feeling like you’re gonna wear blue,’”
Hammond said,
“She was like, ‘There is a hint of blue.’ So I was like, ‘Fantastic!’”
The princess often wears blue ever since she married into the royal family 12 years ago.
While it is exactly not known why the princess loves blue so much, the royals have a long-standing history of their preference for the color which represents power, serenity, and stability.
Earlier this month, the future queen coordinated her bright blue outfit with her husband and all their three children during an Easter service.
Catherine who loves recycling her dresses re-wore an electric blue Catherine Walker coat dress at the Easter church service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. She previously wore the dress at the 2022 Commonwealth Day Service.
The royal paired the dress with a matching Lock and Co. hat which featured a slim, oversized bow. Also, she wore nude pumps, carried a royal blue clutch, and shone in sapphire drop earrings.
