It looks like Priyanka Chopra Jonas was waiting for the right moment to show her daughter Malti Marie‘s face in public.

And now, the actress and her husband Nick Jonas have finally introduced their baby girl to the world on a very special occasion and fans are very happy.

The former Miss World, 40, with her daughter attended a ceremony where the Jonas Brothers were inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The actress sat in a row behind her husband on Monday with her daughter on her lap. Earlier this month, Malti celebrated her first birthday.

For her very first public appearance, Malti was dressed in a baby pink two-piece tweed outfit with a cute white flower bow on her head.

Nick, 30, gave a big shoutout to his wife and daughter in his acceptance speech.

The Jealous singer said,

“To my beautiful wife, you are the calm in the crazy, the rock in the storm, and I love being married to you. It is the greatest gift. I love being a parent with you, so Malti Marie,”

He then said hi to his infant daughter and continued,

“I can’t wait to come here with you in 15 years and embarrass you in front of your friends.”

Before this big family celebration, the couple has always kept their daughter out of the limelight, covering her face with mostly heart emojis on Instagram pictures.

Priyanka talks about motherhood in the latest Vogue issue

The latest shot of the adorable family came earlier this month when the Bollywood actress shared a carousel of pictures with Malti after her first birthday celebrations.

The duo posed for cute selfies with their baby in front of the ocean. The young baby looked cute in a yellow Dior sweat set and a pair of tights.

The second shot showed Chopra gazing at the blue water from a balcony with her baby. The third one showed Nick and Priyanka taking their daughter closer to the water.

However, Malti’s face remained covered with a white heart emoji throughout.

The In My City singer simply captioned the post, “Sunday ????,”

Last week, Chopra Jonas and Malti Marie appeared in the February issue of British Vogue. In the candid interview, the doting mother talked about how motherhood changed her life.

She said,

“It’s been 20 years of hustling and working at breakneck speed. I’ve always been like, ‘What’s the next thing?’ […] “But now I feel I have a centre, a sense of calm, because every decision ends up being about her.”

The former beauty queen added,

“I have, like, seven cameras in her room. There’s really nothing more satisfying than seeing her face as soon as her eyes open.”
