A Puerto Rican salsa musician, Lalo Rodrigues, is no longer alive with us. Lalo, whose real name was Ubaldo Rodriguez Santos, was found dead on Tuesday at a public housing project in his hometown of Carolina, Puerto Rico.
His death was confirmed by the Associated Press, which cited local police after his body was identified by one of Rodriguez’s acquaintances. He was just 64.
According to NBC News reports, Police said that there were no visible signs of violence on his body. However, his death’s cause is yet to be revealed, more details have come to light after his autopsy.

Who Lalo Rodriguez was best known?
Lalo Rodriguez began his career at a young age and got his career for his 1988 hit, “Ven, devorame otra vex” or “Come, Devour Me Again,” which appeared on his album Un Nuevo Despertar.
He made his musical debut in 1980 with the album “Simplemente… Lalo” (“Simply Lalo”). He had also formed part of Eddie Palmieri’s band. Despite his successful professional life, Rodriguez had struggled for years with drugs and alcohol, in particular, alcohol and cocaine.
