Rumer Willis, 34, is soon going to be a mom. The former Dancing with the Stars and her boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas is expanding family members, as they are expecting their first child together in 2023.

Willis took to Instagram on Tuesday, December 20, to announce the happy news in a joint post that she is pregnant with her first child. She shared a series of black-and-white photos in which Wills flaunts her growing baby bump.

The first and third pictures of the series showed Derek wrapping his hand around his pregnant girlfriend’s tiny belly and providing a sweet kiss while Willis smiled.

Similarly, the second photo featured her silhouette on full display. She then simply captioned the post remarking with a seedling emoji.

As soon as the lovebirds make an announcement many took to the comment section quickly flooding with congratulatory messages. Aaron Paul went on to comment,

“I’m so happy for you my friend. Such beautiful news. Congrats!!!”

While Brittany Snow added,

“Congrats beauty!!”

Further, they received congratulatory messages from their friends including Jenna Johnson, Dave Annable, Nicola Peltz Beckham, and more.

Aside from friends, and fans, their family members also couldn’t help but express their excitement online. Rumer’s mother Demi Moore shared the same Instagram post of her daughter and went on to say,

The forthcoming baby will be her first grandchild of Moore. Similarly, the 60-years old soon-to-be grandma added,

“So happy for you my love!”
