Rauw Alejandro and Rosalia have broken up after almost four months of their engagement.
Rauw confirmed the breakup news after rumors surfaced that they split up following infidelity.
In 2019, they began dating after months of virtual interaction and officially meeting in person in a Las Vegas hotel lounge during the 2019 Latin Grammys.

It’s official! Rauw Alejandro and Rosalia have split up

It’s over for Rauw Alejandro and Rosalia Vila Tobellaare. The two have called it quits on their engagement.

On Wednesday, July 26, the 30-year-old singer posted an Instagram story with a lengthy message confirming he and the “Despecha” singer are no longer a romantic couple.

He wrote in Spanish which translated,

“Yes, a few months ago Rosi and I ended our engagement. There are thousands of problems that could cause a breakup, but in our case it was not due to third parties or infidelity.”

Rauw Alejandro then went on to address the cheating allegation while respecting his two-year romance with Rosalia. He explained,

“During the space that I am taking to assimilate all of this, erroneous public allegations have emerged and out of the respect I have for her, our families and all that we lived through, I could not stay silent and continue to watch how they try to destroy the story of the most real love that God has permitted me to live.”

Similarly, he acknowledges his fans as part of his professional accomplishments, as well as, all the happy moments that I have lived as a couple”. He added,

“I never saw myself in a position of even thinking that I would have to give public statements on this matter that is so private to me.”

The “Todo de ti” artist then concluded his statement while expressing gratitude towards his fans who showed support during this difficult time.

However, Rosalia has yet to comment on the breakup news.

Rauw previously told Billboard in an interview for their cover story that it was love at first sight.

In September 2021, they went Instagram official with their romance and made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the Los 40 Music Awards in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

They have also inked tattoos for one another. In March 2022, Rosalia flaunts her tattoo that reads ‘RR’ on her foot during her appearance on the Spanish talk show, El Hormiguero.
